We now also need to prepare for the impacts of climate change, in other words, we need to adapt. Yet, as recent climatic events have shown, neither France nor Europe is ready. <\/strong><strong>Adaptation policies remain relatively limited, and the associated resources, both financial and human, are few and far between. As a result, the great majority of investments made by the State, local authorities and businesses still do not take climate change into account.
