This is a particular concern for clean technologies as they are riskier than other investments, given them a harder access to private capital. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Clean technologies (Cleantech) plays a crucial role in Europe\u2019s decarbonisation, and the EU and Member States will need to both manufacture and deploy mature cleantech at scale as well as continue to develop and support innovation. Both of these challenges incorporate a public finance element.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Objectives and partners<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shaping an EU policy framework that increases the level of public and private investment in breakthrough and priority climate innovations and drives rapid deployment. This project will work at the EU level, producing research and leading advocacy to unlock public investment in cleantech.
